Where should marina signs and club plaques be delivered?
Harbor Plaque Co ships worldwide, and your written quote confirms the service and charges for each address. At a waterfront site, the address is the easy part. Delivery drivers rarely reach the docks, gates may be locked and the harbor office may close outside its hours. Name a receiver, a building and a time someone will be there.
The list helps prepare your request. Shipping availability, import arrangements and transit time are confirmed for the actual delivery address.
Can one order go to a marina, a club and a boat owner?
Yes. A single order can be split into shipments for the harbor office, the yacht club and a private owner. Mark every line of your list with its destination. The quote then lists each address with its own packing list and charges, so slip signs do not end up at the clubhouse with the trophies.
Who should receive signs at a marina?
Send them to the harbor office or a named dockmaster, not to a dock or slip. Couriers cannot leave parcels on a walkway, and gate codes should not appear in delivery notes. If the office keeps short hours, say so in your request, and name a second contact who can let a driver in.
How do international marina and club orders work?
Give the country, the harbor town and the postal code in your first message. Your quote names the shipping service and explains who handles import paperwork and any duties there. If your club or marina uses names in more than one language, send each one exactly as it should appear, accents included.
How should slip signs and trophies be packed?
Slip signs are fitted along a dock, so ask for them packed by dock in slip order, with the slip number on each sleeve. Trophies and member plaques are presented, so pack them by class or by recipient in prize-giving order. Keep the two groups in separate boxes so one can go to the docks and the other to the clubhouse.
